About Hosting Verdict
Hosting Verdict is an independent hosting comparison site. We test managed cloud and WordPress hosting providers, then publish what actually performs — with real TTFB numbers, real pricing (including add-ons), and honest cons.
What we do
We run identical WordPress installations across multiple hosting providers, measure real-world performance over 30–90 days, and verify pricing directly from official sources. Every review includes source-attributed benchmarks, realistic total-cost scenarios (not just headline prices), and honest drawbacks.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions from some of the hosts we review, at no extra cost to you. We make this explicit on every page that contains affiliate links. Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings or verdict. See our affiliate disclosure for specifics.
We will recommend the host we believe is actually best for a given use case, even when a different host pays higher commissions. Our goal is long-term reader trust, not short-term commission maximization — the economics work only if readers come back.
What we don't do
- We don't publish paid rankings or sponsored "reviews"
- We don't use fake 5/5 scores to lift click-through rates
- We don't hide meaningful cons behind positive marketing language
- We don't recommend hosts we haven't actually tested
