What this means

When you click certain links on this site and then purchase a hosting plan from that provider, we may receive a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider's site.

Which providers pay us

As of April 2026, we have affiliate partnerships with the following hosting providers mentioned on this site:

Commission structures vary by provider and plan. We are not disclosing exact commission amounts as these change frequently and are considered confidential by some partners.

How this affects our content

Affiliate commissions do not influence our rankings, scores, or verdicts. Specifically:

• We will recommend the host we believe is actually best for a given use case, even when a different host pays higher commissions.
• We will state cons and drawbacks honestly, even when they reduce conversion.
• We do not accept payment to feature any host as "recommended" or "#1."
• We do not accept free hosting in exchange for reviews.
• We disclose when we have personally tested a host versus when we're summarizing third-party data.

Why we take affiliate commissions

Running independent testing — 30–90 day benchmarks across multiple hosts, real support ticket submissions, ongoing price verification — requires time and resources. Affiliate commissions fund this work.

We believe the alternative (paywalls, display ads, or sponsored rankings) would serve readers worse. An affiliate-funded model aligns our incentives with yours: we make more money long-term only if readers trust us enough to come back.

Where you'll see affiliate links

Every page that contains affiliate links has a disclosure banner at the top. Every outbound link to a hosting provider's sign-up page is an affiliate link unless explicitly stated otherwise. Links that go to a provider's documentation, support, or policy pages (for reference purposes) are not typically affiliate links.
